//MORE COMMISSIONS!!

Hey there!

So I’m opening up some fun styled sketchbook commissions!

You give me a subject matter or two or a theme and I’ll fill up a sketchbook page with it and mail it out to you!

I’m going to be using an assortment of materials in my moleskine sketchbooks (pencils, ink, markers, colored pencil, possibly gouache or acrylic) to really have fun with it. As well as collage techniques and using the stickers shown. That’s right, scratch-n-sniff stickers! Even purikura stickers!

The pages I fill will have a very fun, informal vibe to them as you can see in the photos above.

If you’re interested, I’ll send you the original page (shipping will begin the week of June 17th), and you can have it for yourself.

Feel free to check my sketch tag to see what kind of work I’ve done in my sketchbook in the past.

//PRICING

(Measurements are approximate and prices include shipping and handling. They will be sent in the envelopes shown along with a chipboard/sturdy cardboard backing to prevent bending.)

Also, my other commission deals are still going right now. So feel free to contact me at: michael.perez.illustration@gmail.com to ask for more information, special requests, pricing negotiations, and hopefully take me up on a commission.

Thank you very much!

I’m really looking forward to doing these!

“271/365: INFRARED”

Played around with some old photos I’ve taken to test out an infrared film tutorial I found.

It was pretty fun. The top pair’s original is below the first image, the middle on the right, and the last one on the left.

“270/365: LITTLE HOUSE”

Based on one of the sketches from this post.

I’m going to be putting this in along with a few other pieces into a show happening at my job next Monday.

I sadly will not be able to attend it since I’ll be starting my visit back to Texas to visit family and attend a wedding. But, I’m glad my boss let me put work in and allow me to keep my work there while I’m away.

“269/365: SELF-PORTRAIT AT 600 DPI”
Been a while since I’ve played around like this. Last time I did was about two years ago.
I decided to put my scanner at 600 dpi to scan this in. Which, as you may or may not know, is a higher resolution than say, 150 dpi, but takes much longer to scan the image in.
You can see how I got impatient and only tried to scan part of my head in towards the start.
Then I just started playing around with my hand as it captured the intervals at which I would rest and pick up my fingers.
I put a faint pinkish filter over it to bring out some of the blurred fleshtones of my face and hands in the background.
Regardless, this was fun.
P.S. I just cleaned my scanner glass after doing this. Smudges everywhere.
